Winemaker's Selection Merlot 2009
This is a superb wine, with subtle nose, intense colour and a strong chocolate taste over a berry palate. Colour is deep red, tending to black. Viscosity is obvious with arches prominent when wine is aerated in the glass. Strong integrated flavours are complimented by the luxuriance of chocolate and a suggestion of acid which helps define the taste sensation. The aftertaste is moderately long and ill defined, giving a playfulness to the tasting experience.
Winemaker's Selection Nebbiolo di Rosa 2008
Perfect pizza partner. This light and delicate red wine is made from Nebbiolo, an Italian grape high in acid and suited to the sharp, angular sauces of many Mediterranean foods. Clear, light to mid pink with suggestions of rust. Some fruity esters on the nose. Tastes floral with little residual sweetness; has subtle cherry and pepper flavours . Delicate flavour development on the palate and a moderate, lingering finish. This wine has been barrel aged for a year, enhancing complexity. Think picnic; chilled with cold meats, buttered rolls, olives, sun dried tomatoes, etc.

Sweet
Luscious Red Lips 2011
A sweet, low alcohol fun wine made from ripe Cabernet grapes. Luscious!
This wine was fermented until half the sugar was metabolized, then sterile filtered and bottled.
The wine displays the berry and plum flavours of the Shiraz variety along with luscious sugars and has a nice balance of acid and sweetness.
Needs to be chilled. Sensational with fruit or not-too-sweet desserts. A very pleasant low alcohol quaffer
Moscato Giallo 2010
Mocato Giallo is made from the yellow muscat grape and very little of this has been planted in Australia. This grape yields a moscato style wine that is sweet without the over-the-top confectionery flavours. The fruity nose is complemented by intense sweetness and muscaty flavours and crisp, balancing acidity. Low in alcohol: only 5.4% which is less than half of that of most wines. Quaffs beautifully. Goes with not-too-sweet sweets like berries and cantaloupe.
VP Fortified Shiraz 2008
VP Shiraz is a rich and sweet single vintage fortified. It is intense, fruity and luscious with a strong tannic backbone. Although old barrel aged for two years, the wine isn't expected to round out until about 2020 and thus need considerable bottle ageing. It will probably throw a sediment and need decanting. Potential as a desert or after dinner wine.
